Thomas William Hiddleston is an English actor. He portrays Will Ransome in the Apple TV+ period drama, The Essex Serpent.
Biography[]
Hiddleston is an award-winning actor who is best known for his role as Loki, the God of Mischief, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a role that he's filled since 2011, when he appeared in the first Thor film, ultimately leading to a spin-off series on Disney+.
Hiddleston made his television debut in 2001, in the TV movie The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. From 2006-2007, he portrayed Bill Hazledine in Suburban Shootout, and from 2008-2010, he portrayed Magnus Martinsson in Wallander. Hiddleston made his film debut in the 2007 film Unrelated. Some of his more notable film roles include Midnight in Paris, War Horse, The Deep Blue Sea, and Crimson Peak.
