Michael Jibson is an English actor, writer, director, and voice over artist. He portrays Matthew Evansford in the Apple TV+ period drama, The Essex Serpent.
Biography[]
Jibson is an award-winning actor and the son of Tim Jibson, the director of Adventures In Radio, an international radio promotion and marketing company based in Hull. In 2003, he portrayed Joe Casey in the Madness/Tim Firth musical Our House, which was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Moving into film and television, some of Jibson's more notable credits include Flyboys, The Bank Job, Red Mist, Les Misérables, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Hatfields & McCoys.
