Hayley Squires is an English actress and playwright. She portrays Martha in the Apple TV+ period drama, The Essex Serpent.
Biography[]
Squires is an award-winning actress who gained recognition for her role in Ken Loach's 2016 film I, Daniel Blake as Katie, for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the BAFTAs. Some of her other roles include Southcliffe, Blood Cells, A Royal Night Out, The Miniaturist, Collateral, and Adult Material.
